Technically, the kick to Timeline for user pages happened at the end of January. I, and quite a few of my friends, still have the old profile pages. In my case, I think it's because I permanently disabled apps account-wide a long time ago, and since Timeline is hardcoded into the new Open Graph app platform... as long as I don't accidentally undisable it, I keep the old profile?

Problem, Zuck?

FB has too many people feeding on their own jobs. "Let's see, how can I change stuff up for no real reason except to hang on to my position here." Timeline is confusing, discouraging and purposeless. This may be the beginning of the end for FB and me. And I loved you so.........

One of the brand pages I visit frequently went timeline a couple of days ago, the consensus is that this is the worst decision Facebook has ever made. I think it's a bunch of BS Facebook has admitted that they're switching to the Timeline to make it easier for advertisers to target us. I mark every ad I see on Facebook as offensive regardless of the content because it's offensive by the very nature of being an ad. What happened to the web being a place for us to find information and connect to people? Now it's just a bunch of annoying invasive ads. SMH it's enough to make me want to disconnect entirely.
