I’m in a long list of groups I don’t want to be in and can’t leave them. EW~ I don’t know why FB ever made this an opt-out rather than opt-in anyway. I hate when people add me to a group without my permission and I’m not allowed to “approve” that request… I’m just all of a sudden a member of a group. Ridiculous!

Thu, 29 Nov 2012 00:52:00 +0000 http://www.slashgear.com/?p=258815#comment-257447 The bug added me to groups I left, and it also “added” me to groups that had been archived because supposedly they were not compatible with the new group format. I say “supposedly” because those groups now appear to work normally with the new format.

Coincidentally, my e-mail notifications stopped working correctly too. I wonder if the issue is related. I now get notifications for everything I am unsubscribed from (e.g., somebody posts after me in a friend’s status update) but nothing I am subscribed to (e.g., event invites, responses to my own status updates, etc.).

I’m not sure what Facebook did, but it really messed everything up.
