Evernote landing on the BlackBerry PlayBook

Evernote has finally arrived on the BlackBerry PlayBook. The popular note-taking and cloud storage platform offers users a way to save text, audio, images, web pages and more to a secure online account that can be accessed from any internet-connected device. Evernote already has apps for Android, iOS, and even Window Phone 7.

However, the Evernote app for the BlackBerry PlayBook will lack some of the features that can be found on the versions for Android and iOS. For instance, the PlayBook version cannot create rich-text notes with checkboxes or to-do lists. But since it is only the first version for the QNX platform, updates ahead should bring it up to speed.

And as usual, the app is free and available through the BlackBerry App World. If you've been mulling over whether to take advantage of the recent BlackBerry PlayBook promotions, let us know if the addition of your favorite note-taking app makes any difference. Or, are you holding out for a 7-inch Android slate?
