This is a sad day for gamers in the US. No, Europe isn’t getting a major title before we do (that would just be absurd!), but rather we have lost the number two spot in worldwide gaming sales.

According to Nielsen Games, people in the European Union spent roughly a billion (US) dollars more on video games than we have. And here I thought we were doing pretty good on gaming sales.
One thing to consider is that it seems like gamers in Europe have to spend considerably more for games and consoles than those of us here in the US. Sure, that probably doesn’t make up for a billion dollar difference, but when they’re paying nearly twice the price for Rock Band, it does make one wonder.

Who’s first?
….How can you ask who’s first? Its obvious that The World is first, europe is second and US is third.
Dumbhat…
: )
jk. I think Asia is first. http://www.kombo.com/article.php?artid=11166 which, as the previous poster mentioned, makes no sense; it is rather foolish to compare markets in this manner.
