With all this crap copy right protection paranoia stuff going on, soon the internet will be rendered useless. You tube is full of people filming stuff with music in the back ground. That will have to go. Film anything outdoors and get an image in the back ground that its copy righted, that will have to go. I thought we are supposed to free in the western countries. We are soon to be regulated even harder than communist countries. Soon, we’ll have to go live in Russia or China to have freedom on the Web.

Your smartphone can, Soundhound or Shazam tell you almost instantly what a song is and that includes creating an audio sample rather than just reading it straight from an audio (ro audio/video) file. Technically very doable. Just a few servers more, wont hurt google. But germans are gonna cry out loud.
