I've handled a similar 7" Android tab (shudder). Let's just say the resistive screen was HORRID! (and this is coming from someone that owned the TG01, which had a beautifully responsive resistive screen!).

I would state that it's lack of fulfilment of any low expectations will far outweigh any benefits you could possibly derive!

cheaper than a logitech remote control & cheaper than many photo frames just to name a couple of things that just got out dated. what else can yall think of? come to think of it, i cant really find a 7 inch screen for $50.

if only someone would create something like this, but make it modular so you can pick which cpu, screen, gpu, ram, memory etc you want in it. i do wonder how much more it would cost to manufacture a modular / configurable version.

Devices like this might be useful as cheap home automation controllers, when you might not need full tablet functionality. (This one might be a little too cheap, though.)
