Every kid, and yes even myself – dream of building a robot of some sort without using a pre-written set of instructions.  Unfortunately, I never accomplished my dream so I’ll have to live vicariously through Smitty.  He’s the creator of an eight-legged robot that measures 5-inches in high, 17-inches long, and 9-inches wide.  The beast is brought to life and walking, thanks to its eight legs and help from a motor.  Click to watch the video after the jump.
