Epson ships new PowerLite 1700 series projectors

Epson unveiled the 1700 series of PowerLite projectors back during the summer and the company has announced that as of today the projectors are finally shipping. The models in the line include the PowerLite 1750, 1760W, 1770W, and 1775W projectors. All of the models are less than four pounds and are about 1.7-inches tall making them about as thick as a laptop. The projector line is for the mobile pro or business user looking for portability in a 3LCD projector.

The projectors share many of the same features with USB plug and play connectivity with Mac and PCs eliminating the need for VGA cables. The projectors also have USB ports for giving presentations without needing a computer. The 1770W, 1775W, and 1760w projectors have a wireless USB key that makes for easy to use set up of wireless connectivity.

Wireless networking is optional on some models, and they all feature horizontal keystone correction, screen fit, and positioning flexibility. The 1750 and 1760W have 2600 lumens of brightness and sell for $799 and $899 respectively. The 1779W and 1775W sell for $999 and $1199 with 3000 lumens of brightness. The 1750 has XGA resolution and the 1760W, 1770W, and 1775W all have WXGA resolution.
