Many people look for a couple really important features in a multimedia projector for business and education. They want the projector to be priced very well and they need the thing to be really bright so it can be used in room with lots of light. Epson has announced a new projector that is called the PowerLite X9 aimed at education markets.

The projector is really bright with 2500 lumens of light output and it's also surprisingly cheap at $599. The projector has USB plug and play setup that will work for Windows and Mac computers via a USB cable. It has 1.2x optical zoom and +/- 30-degree automatic vertical keystone correction. The projector also has the ability to be turned on and off via a wall switch.

The lamp inside the projector is rated for 5000 hours and it has a portable and light design that makes it easy to carry from room to room. The technology inside the projector is 3LCD. The X9 will ship in April through multiple retailers.
