Epson Japan have announced their entrant to the netbook market, in the shape of the Endeavor Na01 Mini.  Inside the relatively sober casing lies the usual Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard-drive and WiFi b/g.  It has a 10.2-inch WSVGA display.

Ports include three USB 2.0, a memory card slot, VGA output, audio in/out and ethernet.  It measures 266 x 184.7 x 39mm and weighs in at 1.28kg.  Options include Bluetooth and a USB 1-Seg digital TV tuner.

The Epson Endeavor Na01 Mini is available in Japan priced from the equivalent of $479.  Personally, while the design isn’t quite as slick as some of the rival netbooks we’ve seen, I rather like it.  Particularly the silver angular end-caps on the hinge.
