Entire Film Shot with iPhone Camera

This movie goes by the title "Paranmanjang" (Korean for "ups and downs") and so far it's got a 31 second trailer and a 5 minutes and 12 seconds behind the scenes teaser for it. Does this mean that the movie is going to be a short? Perhaps. This movie is directed by leading South Korea film director Park Chan-wook. Take a peek at both videos below.

This film is complete and has already been shown in South Korea and it tells the story of a fisherman who finds a body in the water, how he freaks out because of it, and the story of the dead person's life leading up to death. The film was done in partial financial collaboration with iPhone carrier, KT Corp., who last October sponsored a film festival that contained 12 more short movies also shot entirely on iPhone 4.

Mr Park himself noted the following about the film: "From hunting for a film location, shooting auditions, to doing a documentary on the filming process, everything was shot with the iPhone 4. We went through all the same film-making processes except that the camera was small." Super fun!

NOTE: Upon further research, we've learned that the movie is a full 30 minutes, and is therefor indeed also classified a "short."
