NoYes

Sometimes, after an OCD-driven bout of scrubbing, polishing and bleaching, I feel like bagging everything up in zip-loc bags to keep them as beautiful and shiny as they are just-post-clean, rather than get filthy again.  Of course I don’t actually do it, because I’m not entirely crazy.  Someone at Studio Italia Design, however, seems to share my enclosing desires, if this Blow lamp is anything to go by.

Blow Table Lamp

A brushed chrome and aluminium angle-poise lamp, trapped inside a blown-glass bubble, the direction of the light is changed by moving a magnet around the outside at which point the lamp inside tracks to follow it.  It’s indecently gorgeous, and at $1,363 indecently expensive too.
