Enclosed Table Lamp

Sometimes, after an OCD-driven bout of scrubbing, polishing and bleaching, I feel like bagging everything up in zip-loc bags to keep them as beautiful and shiny as they are just-post-clean, rather than get filthy again.  Of course I don't actually do it, because I'm not entirely crazy.  Someone at Studio Italia Design, however, seems to share my enclosing desires, if this Blow lamp is anything to go by.

A brushed chrome and aluminium angle-poise lamp, trapped inside a blown-glass bubble, the direction of the light is changed by moving a magnet around the outside at which point the lamp inside tracks to follow it.  It's indecently gorgeous, and at $1,363 indecently expensive too.
