There were plenty of people who didn’t think Elonex could bring their original One notebook to market at its £99 ($196) price, but the machine was a surprising success.  Now the company is looking to build on that with the One T, which lacks the removable keyboard of its predecessor in favor of a less top-heavy, more traditional design.  An unspecified 400MHz processor gives a minimal amount of grunt, but you can’t complain too much when the tag reads just £129 ($255).

There’s also a 7-inch 800 x 480 display, 1GB of solid-state storage and an SD card slot.  Connectivity includes WiFi/g, a VGA output and three USB 2.0 ports.  There’ll also be a One T+ version which doubles the storage to 2GB.

Dimensions are 210 x 140 x 30mm while weight is 625g.  The battery is rated for three hours.  No release date as of yet, nor word of whether it’ll make it outside of the UK.

I ordered the original elonex one laptop back in march 08 and i was beginning to wonder whether i would ever get it, until a few days when i received an e-mail asking me for full payment so it can be despatched, i was also offered a free upgrade to this new model , which i have taken up.
will let you know more when it has arrived and i have tested it , have been quoted up to 28 days for delivery.

Not sure about in-store sales, B, but you might try asking Elonex’s sales department. Their email is sales@elonex.com

They list their address here: http://www.elonex.com/contacts.shtm

Got my Onet+ for a couple of days now, and it is really a very good little toy, with great potential.
I have downloaded the games from littlelinuxlaptop website and they work great!
The wi-Fi worked immediately, and the web pages loads in no time.
Exception to elaborated intensive show-off type websites that I rend to ignore anyway!
It read all my .XLS files that I need to access when away from work, and the battery life seems to be good enough.
Linux OS is transparent, and unless you want to dwelve into it, you can ignore it !
So not to be scared here!
It took long time to come but I am chuffed with my new toy!
