If like me you were intrigued by the Eleksen Fabric Keyboard prototype featured over at the Carrypad UMPC Journal then you’ll be interested in this video that Steve has put together. It’s strange watching someone type on their UMPC bag, but he seems pleased with the performance.
Most excitingly, Eleksen themselves are apparently watching Steve’s postings about the keyboard, taking on board feedback from both him and commenters on his blog, so if you think you’ll be tempted by the eventual production version and fancy having a say in how it develops then make sure you get over there and make your voice heard. Already someone has suggested a non-slip backing to prevent it from skittering around the table.

I don’t think that is a keyboard I could get into. the sound was driving me crazy and I like the feel of keys on a desktop keybored over that of a notebook so I could seeing me liking that even less.
