Electric Tron Lightcycle is perfect for green users

Last December Parker Brothers Choppers rolled out a real life replica of the Tron Lightcycle that was in the new movies. That replica was powered by a Suzuki V-twin engine out of a motorcycle. Parker Brothers Choppers are back with a new version of that light cycle that looks just as cool and has a lot more green inside.

The new version of the Tron Lightcycle from the firm is powered by an electric motor. The bike has no combustion engine and is said to be good for a top speed of 100 mph. The bike you see here has the glowing blue lines. However, it lacks the neck snapping agility of the movie bikes and doesn't trial a blue wall to destroy bikes behind it.

The batteries under that awesome bike bodywork are lithium-ion based and can run for an hour at a time and the battery recharges in 35 minutes. I would like to know how far it can travel in that hour. The bike is street legal and the design looks like it would be uncomfortable to ride.
