Okay, so Elecom’s latest speaker-dock for the myriad iPod choices on the market today isn’t going to win any awards for maximum output, but it’s a clean and easy solution for avoiding having to wear those clichéd earphones and be mugged in the comfort of your very own home.  Available in black and white (but not orange, sadly), it runs on 4 AAA batteries, offers two 1W speakers (I did say it wasn’t powerful) and has a USB port to hook up to iTunes.
