Remember last week when I told you that EB Games in Canada would let people preordering the game Haze play it for a week for free? The deal basically stated that if they traded the game in within a week, they would be given full in-store credit. Apparently it was too good to be true. (Who would have guessed?)

Haze

According to Ubisoft (publisher for Haze) there was some miscommunication between their Canadian branch and EB Games. They were not happy about this issue, and have since corrected things. EB Games is no longer honoring the offer.

I can’t say that I’m surprised here. Ubisoft only stands to lose sales from this offer. Every person that cashes in on this offer is essentially taking a sale away from Ubisoft.
