Looks like Microsoft is having some issues in the Land Down Under. Apparently EB Games Australia has issued a recall on all Xbox 360 Premium consoles.

The cause for the recall isn’t completely clear, but sources point to an issue with the hard drives, rather than with the Red Ring of Death issues that plague the consoles here in the US. This theory is bolstered by the fact that Core Systems without hard drives are not included in the recall.
As of now, no EB Australia stores are carrying the Premium consoles, but they expect that by Wednesday they should have stock of new defective-free consoles.
