We can understand EA not being able to maintain these servers as it is additional cost, but they should atleast allow individuals to host games on their consoles so they can still make use of it!!

Before anyone says “Well EA can’t be expected to keep game servers on for ever”… most, if not all of these game would run easily on independent servers, hosted by the game players themselves but EA are not releasing the game server code, forcing you to bin your games and buy more.
