EA confirms Rock Band for the Wii

I’m really not the kind of guy that jumps up, points and says “I told you so.” However, were I that type of person, I would be doing just that. As I pointed out earlier this week, Rock Band will be making its way to the Nintendo Wii.

The official word came from EA, rather than Harmonix, but their word is just as good seeing that they’re quite involved in the process. Granted, this wasn’t in the form of a major press release, but it was instead it was mentioned during a Q&A session by EA’s CEO John Riccitello.

We haven’t heard any juicy details such as pricing, availability or how the Wiimote will work with the instruments. We’ll be sure to let you know the moment we have more info.
