EA announces Need for Speed Most Wanted for Wii U

EA has announced that its award-winning Need for Speed Most Wanted will cruise onto the Nintendo Wii U this spring. The game will launch on the new Nintendo console on March 19 in North America and March 21 in Europe. The game has a connected, open world where players can race, chase, and explore while challenging friends in various contests.

The game will have three unique features on the Wii U console GamePad controller and will feature bonus content. The game will feature an all-new local co-op mode called, co-driver where one player we use the Wii Remote or the Wii U Pro controller. The other player will use the fancy Wii U GamePad to provide control and navigation assistance on a fully interactive real-time map.

The GamePad controller will allow players to use fingertips to distract cops, allow users to switch from night to day, or activate enhanced performance for any car and control the amount of traffic on the road. The touchscreen controller will also allow players to change vehicle modifications, switching to their favorite cars, track milestones, and uncover hidden parts of the city without having to slowdown.

The entire game is also playable on the Wii U GamePad controller so even if another person in house takes over the big screen you can continue to play. The game also features the Ultimate Speed Pack on the Nintendo console with five of the fastest cars ever made. The cars will include the McLaren F1 LM, Lamborghini Aventador J, Pagani Zonda R, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, and the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder. The game will cost $59.99.
