They may have copied Nintendo in the sense of adding user motion detection. But Nintendo's motion detection technology is a gimmick by comparison. I bought a Wii, after playing it for a few days I realized I can beat my friends at Wii tennis just by flicking my wrist. Soon I was playing bowling and most other games from my couch, just shaking the controller in various ways. So Nintendo is far behind when it comes to motion detection gaming technology. On my kinect I actually have to follow through with the intended motions.

Yep, the ps3 move is like the Wii controller on steroids with a camera to help it out. The fact that its wand based is a giveaway that the means of control was a direct take on the Wii controller, as why I said Sony 'copied' Wii, not exactly but in terms of concept, yes.

Sony obviously copied Wii, but Kinect is something else, ALOT more of something else, with more potential. In the end, the games and functionality will be the deciding factor, M$ is obviously trying to make it more than just a games console.

Can't say im excited about the Wii U. Will be interesting to see what Sony has up their sleeves since they said they'd be implementing motion control like the kinect. And definitely can't wait to hear about the new Xbox, hopefully all of Xbox live features will be available to countries outside of the US (like here in Australia), and they really need to take advantage of kinect technology. Would be awesome if you could change regular tv channels with your hand, not just things like netflix/hulu or other paid/special channels that most people DONT have.
