Duracell portable universal netbook charger is under $50

I bet there are many people out there who would like to have two chargers for their netbook. With two chargers, you can leave one at the house and one at the office and not have to fiddle with plugging and unplugging them each time you go to one place or the other.

The catch is that many of the power adapters are expensive and they can be hard to find. Duracell has announced a new universal netbook power adapter that is available for $49.99. The power adapter is called the Duracell 40-Watt Universal Netbook Adapter and it will be in Wal-Mart, CompUSA and at many online destinations for purchase.

The power adapter has four interchangeable voltage controlling tips that allow the adapter to work with hundreds of netbook models. The adapter will specifically work with popular netbooks from Acer, Asus, Dell, and other major computer makers. The tips automatically switch the voltage on the adapter between 12V and 19V depending on the power needs of your machine. That is much easier than having to fiddle with a voltage switch.
