I don’t get the point of these kind of comments – clearly, for people who need a cheap alternative to an expensive camera monitor screen, this app is great, but nobody’s forcing YOU to use it if it’s not what you need. Saying this app is “worthless” (as JohnJohnJ says) or that it’s not useful for people other than The13thSin is like saying “I don’t play guitar, so guitar strings are worthless!” Some things are only designed for a small number of people who have specific creative needs, so why complain about it if it’s something you’re never going to use?

Excellent bit of kit on my 600d with magic lantern as well picture are getting better all the time. Roll on live video as well

My big question is will it do bracketing like a Promote Control? If that’s the case I’ll get it right away and help with it as much as I can. The easier for me to work is the best.

Lol, that’s the whole idea: you can connect without any other PC or server… which is very handy if you work in field and away from your equipment.

It’s the cheaper alternative to those 500+ USD screens for your DSLR and also opens up a range of possibilities for astro photographers, location photographers, model photographers that need perfect focus and hopefully soon: photographers that venture into video.

Can’t wait to see what he’ll come up with next!

Must connect via a USB cable? I can’t go around using my camera connected to a cable and phone. Worthless.
