Thank you for the write up, it was super helpful. I’ve yet to see anyone, personally, using this phone which is why I was curious about it when I heard of it.

When I got. Y droid pro I got it bc Verizon told me they could not fix the problems on my old phone and would only continue to replace it, and the replacement phones did the same thing. I bought the pro hoping for better luck I have had it for 6 months and its had to be fixed 3 times and its still a piece.

OMG I HAD MY DROID PRO FOR 2WEEKS NOW…..LASNITE IT WENT CRAZY….BLINKING SHUTTING DOWN ON ME TO THE POINT WHERE IT WONT TURN BACK ON! I’m looking for a new phone as I’m elegible for an upgrade with Verizon.
I have the BB Curve 8330 right now and can’t stand how much it freezes. I have read a lot of reviews on the Droid Pro about it having a lot of the same freezing problems and don’t want to deal with these problems again on a new phone. Anyone have any input on this matter? Is there new software out since it was released that fixes the problem??

I got a droid pro when they first came out, within 2 weeks I had to return it because it went crazy. Everything started shaking and blinking, it was bringing up apps and then turning them off, turning on the internet and then off, hanging up on me when on the phone. they gave me a brand new one i was hoping that it would all be good, no, this phone for me has been a headache and I just want to run it over with a car, getting rid of it promptly.

I purchased droid pro early dec.. i had problems with battery life as others mentioned.. but after the software update i received during holidays phone is performing lot better..it lasts for 2 days easily with regular usage (gmail,syncing,texts,calls,browsing, light gaming).. not sure of push email though as i only use gmail.

I am thinking about getting the Droid Pro. I am a small business owner and travel domestically and internationally. It sounds like this would be a great phone, but would like to know if the push email and the battery life problems have been fixed. Does anyone know?

I just received my Droid Pro, after a 6 year relationship with BlackBerry. I love the apps, however, I’m only getting about 3 hours out of the battery while browsing and playing with the phone.

The Droid PRO is unacceptable for business users because, like all of Motorola’s recent Droid phones, it does NOT reliably received pushed emails from a corporate Exchange email account on a timely basis. After a brief time, the phone stops synching and you will not receive another pushed email until you manually update your inbox. There are hundreds of complaints about this on Motorola’s support forums. This is a known problem for the phone and Motorola continues to market them to business users. If you rely upon getting pushed emails quickly, do NOT buy this phone. Thank you for a good and thorough review. I could not find enough customer reviews for the Droid Pro yet, but the Torch had been reviewed extensively http://www.scribd.com/doc/39541250/Blackberry-Torch-9800-Customers-s-perception-analysis-WOM. We’ll do some study on the battle of perceptions between these two in a couple of weeks. By that time we would be able to come with a meaningful analysis.

good review! i just need to point out some incorrect information.
I own a Blackberry torch and i’m pretty sure it has 5 MP camera as well.
you wrote 3.2 in your review under camera and multimedia.
