i just got the droid incredible 2 and i love it!!!! i would definetly suggest it to a friend. but the battery life could be better. THis is my first smart phone and when u first start learning how to use it, it can get confusing. But now that im getting better with it I LOVE IT:))

So I got this phone after making a paper weight out of my Droid X, and from day one it has been a joy to have. The second generation 1Ghz(Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon processor) processor powering this beast keeps up all the multitasking and work flowing like a river. Its accompanied by a hefty 768mb of ram which keeps everything running smoothly.

The front and back facing cameras are there for all your moments you want to record or snap with a flurry of options and editing tools to use. HTC sense ( HTC’s costume skin atop android 2.2.1) is a nice feature, but some might prefer a stock android experience. The lack of 4G might make you sad, but one bonus you get with not having 4G is a better battery life. The screen is crisp and beautiful and vibrant with excellent viewing angles, and it’s also extremely responsive.

One really negative thing I have to say is all the bloat ware on the phone. A total of 15 apps are there that you cant remove which is a real shame. Other than that blemish Id have to say that the Droid Incredible 2 is a solid 3G phone and one of the best 3G phones on the market.

I love this phone I have no complaints it is seriously amazing. My battery life is great lasts all day !!!!! Maybe people who are having troubles should try and turn the brightness down and close apps when your finished with them that’s what I do !(:

Very good phone. I’m happy with it. Pros: Fast, reliable and good size. Cons: Main off button on top, making it hard to press everytime I place it back in my pocket. Would have been nice on the right side of the phone. Ideal is to have the button on button front like the Iphone 4. But besides that, great phone.

Great review, although it wins as far as specs are concerned see here (http://www.maggadget.com/droid-warriors-droid-incredible-2-vs-droid-charge-vs-droid-x2/) but Droid charge has better design and comfortable in hand…i will go for that

My battery will drain completely in about 8 hrs, even with the phone “powered OFF”.I try and turn it on and it is dead.

Just got mine yesterday. The direction pointer in Google Maps and VZ navigator gets north & south swapped (and similarly, Sky Map gets left/right panning reversed). I just called Verizon and they confirmed it’s a known bug. They’ve just informed HTC but no ETA yet on when/if/how this will get fixed

Anyone so impatient as to buy an iPhone 4 right now (white or otherwise) deserves to be saddled with sub-par performance for the next two years. Even iOS-fans should just hold out until September for the inevitable dual-core iPhone 5.

At this point within the smartphone timeline, a phone like the HTC Droid Incredible 2 may not seem that incredible, especially since the follow-up to the original Droid Incredible sits in the shadow of the mighty 4G LTE-equipped Thunderbolt. And what about the dual-core craze, featuring the Motorola Atrix 4G and T-Mobile G2x with 1080p video recording? Although the 3G Incredible 2 may not belong to the burgeoning Superphone genus, it proved itself as a speedy, versatile phone that could handle many of the things that the giants could.

This mid range phone, as you describe it, is far better than the white iphone (or the black one for that matter).
