i real ly believe that the Droid Bionic is going to be an updated version of the Droid X, just like the new Droid Charge is simular to the BlackBerry Storm 2. i guess as long as the added features are worth the wait

Extra cost and minimal utility. The front facing camera is for video chat and there would be very little use for a camera that has a higher resolution than standard video chat resolutions let alone the screen itself.

I hope they increase the size of the front facing camera – why not make it as powerful as
the rear facing one ?

I wonder how many sales will be lost for this phone to the thunderbolt and other quality smartphone due to the constant delays and uncertainty. Personally, I gave up waiting and purchased the the Thunderbolt with the extended battery and I’m very pleased with the performance.

It’s all opinion,but have owned my droidxfor a while now and find it to be one of if not the best smartphone put on the market..a anticipate the arival of the bionic but a skilled user of the x willput any phone I have come across yet.also rooted and then unrooted..lobe the ROM that’s installed….point being Motorola has suprised me once again and my not run out and get the bionic bit have no plans on leaving moto

Disappointing since I really don’t like the DroidX style bulge at the top. It makes the phone feel like a remote control. Still, not a deal breaker and I’m perfectly happy waiting for a little while since rooting my Incredible has given it all new life. However, if Motorola gets any more strict with locking its bootloader I may not bother with it, and wait for the Incredible S or another dual-core phone from HTC, which should be much more root friendly.
