Dremel reveals new 4000 rotary tool perfect for modders

If there is one thing that many modders and fans of technology have in common, it is the need to make things better/cooler/faster. Often this need means that technology fans end up taking to extreme measure to mod devices and make custom enclosures for their computers and other gear. The tool of choice for many of these people is the Dremel rotary tool.

Dremel has announced its latest rotary tool that modders will be drooling over called the Dremel 4000. The corded rotary tool is the top-of-the-line from the company and is ideal for cutting, carving, engraving, routing, sanding, and more.

The speed of the tool is adjustable from 5,000 to 35,000 rotations per minute and is the only Dremel tool that is compatible with all Dremel accessories and attachments plus the MultiSaw and Planer attachments created for the 400 Series XPR rotary tool. The Dremel 4000 will ship this month and will sell for $79 to $149 depending on the kit chosen.
