If you want to get a netbook that’s a bit off the beaten path, you might wish to consider the Prime Note Cartina from DosPara. This netbook is Linux powered and offers up a wide array of features and will be available only in Japan. But that fact alone won’t be the sole reason why you can’t get your hands on it.

In fact, only 30 units of this netbook will be made available in Japan. Pretty crazy, huh? It’s some limited edition deal, but for the life of me I can’t figure out why. It seems fairly standard in the specs department.

Features include a 8.9-inch WSVGA LCD screen, an Atom N270 processor, 120GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, WiFi and more. An XP driver is included, as is a Linux OS. It’s light, durable and looks pretty decent. But again, if you want one, you better hop to it! Thirty units isn’t very many!
