 If you’re the forgetful type, it’s likely you’ve forgotten your clothes in the washer at least a few times.  Ryan Rose decided to solve that problem using an interesting tool – Twitter.  You can watch a video about Ryan’s tweeting washing machine after the jump.

As you can see, this is a pretty cool use of Twitter.  But why stop at washing machines?  There are a lot of consumer electronics and appliances that could benefit from a similar modification.  We might not need hacks, though – companies seem to be embracing internet connectivity in their products more and more, and it might not be long until all our devices talk to us through the web.

    If I remember rightly there is a guy that can also turn his lights on and off using twitter and his cellphone. There is a video on YouTube somewhere. Pretty cool how twitter can be used like this.
