DLO Home Dock HD Pro can upscale iPod movies

Now this is different. New iPod docks come out all the time, but this has to be the first time I've seen one that claims to be able to upscale your video files into HD video. Yeah, you read that correctly. This is a pretty bold assertion and all indications point to this gadget actually being able to live up to its upscaling claim.

Apparently, all you have to do is plug in your iPod to the dock and then your videos are upscaled automatically to 720p/1080i. With HDMI and digital audio ports to connect to, your iPod can then be used through your home theater.

The idea here is to make your iPod an integral part of your home entertainment system. By using this dock, you will be able to select music and videos you want to play from your TV screen. Whether or not you'll be able to experience HD quality is still up in the air, but the $399 price tag indicates this device is serious.
