Whenever I think of bars I can’t help but imagine bowls of much-fingered peanuts smeared with urine and the slight atmosphere of desperate, hormonal people. Perhaps instead I should try thinking of jukeboxes - flickr member ericjeff19 obviously has some woodworking skills, as he’s converted an old Zenith Radio into a modern touchscreen-operated jukebox for his parent’s wedding anniversary.

Sadly it’s just a photo set for the moment; any chance of a build log or some instructions? Even some technical details about what loveliness is packed inside that case would be good.

The software looks like one called AlbumPlayer, I am testing it at the moment on my touch screen and it looks to be great! I had written my own player several years ago but don’t have the dev environment installed to update it anymore so I’ve been looking for a suitable substitute for a while. Guts wise it’s probably just an old pc I’ve found 400mhz
win xp and about 256-512mem will run this type of application quite well. If you’re going to build it into a cabinet I would definetly get a good create labs soundcard at least a LIVE or better although my current setup has digital outs to my stereo receiver which is awesome.
