a caveat on both systems operating together. the hopper and 1-3 joeys require two dpp lines from the lnb. since the dpp triple has three lines only one is left to run an additional box (single or dual). if you have a dpp twin you'll have to route your cables to a 33 or 44 switch. since a triple will run 2 hoppers and up to 4 joeys, 6 rooms ALL in hd! (vs 3 hd currently) why keep your old stuff? dish will probably empty your wallet if you don't return the existing boxes. i just hope they don't overprice this like they did with the 922 which wasn't worth the money.

This looks like a fantastic answer to DirectTV's advertised ability to watch shows all over the house. I like my DISH network service a lot, and this will make it all the better. There's a good chance I'll get this system as an upgrade to my existing system.
