Decided to Preorder mine through Telstra on Tuesday night I think it was…. 3 days later I decided to email Telstra to see where the order was it as all I had received was a call saying that I’ve got one for sure…..got a reply from a email saying due to the high demand of ore orders I wouldn’t receive one until 10 business days!

a bit annoyed that my wife’s iPhone was coming in probably on tuesday…. Thought I would try one of the Telstra stores in MacArthur as I was there shopping anyway…… they had more stock then they could poke a stick at (sellers words not mine) and walked out with 64gb iPhone4s……crappy thing is though I have to wait until Monday for my number to be ported over

I chose a white 16GB AT&T iPhone 4S! I arrived at my apple store (Perimeter Mall-Atlanta Ga) at 630am and waited about three hours! It was actually the shortest line I have ever waited in for apple so I was quite happy and Siri and I are the best of friends! ;-) Oh and I chose white because I think its cooler and I kept with AT&T because of their data speeds and the fact I am grandfathered in my unlimited plan! :-)

I bought my black VZW iPhone 4s today, there was only a couple phones left but luckily I was able to get one. Goodbye Android, it was fun while it lasted.

Got a refurb iPhone 4 a couple of months ago and was locked in a contract. When the 4s was debuted, I was relieved. With the experience I get with my 4 and iOS5 on top, there is no need to have buyer’s remorse. I this release trend continues, I’ll get me a 5s when it’s available.

I cancelled my original pre-order and picked up my black 32GB today in an AT&T Mobility store. No lines at 11:30am. Activation was a breeze, iCloud had synced nearly all my apps by the time I got back to work. Love it. Great upgrade for me coming from a 32GB 3GS model.

Went to do a Backup of my 16 GB 3GS last Wednesday night and initially lost everything from iTunes. iOS5 loaded automatically to my iPhone and seemed to remove everything from my iTunes account. Yikes. Boy was I lived! Luckily all of my Photos (2000+) were kept, but not my songs or videos. Also lost all my Apps – so I had to re-install them using my “Already Purchased” list one at a time – took about 4 hours for 80 Apps. Went to the Apple store on Thursday morning, and they stated that i had no phone contacts – what all 200+ of my contacts gone?!? Crap! Now What?!? Well – as it turns out, I had issued the iCloud process early Thursday morning and all of my Contacts, Notes, and sutble settings started to reappear by thursday late evening. I got everything back. Even the Apps that have devoted data embedded that I have kept for these past two years are back. Hmmm. Shoddy way to run a product through – I say!

Purchased mine through AT&T via the web site, about 1 hour after they became available on line last week (Thursday night?). The purchase had a few hiccoughs.. debit card was declined by the fraud protection dept of my bank.. but everything worked out okay in the end.

Well, the wife and I are rocking the iPhone 4.

I got mine launch day and hers about a month later.

Funny, my line can be upgraded at the discount already. The other in line has to wait until late march for the discount.

Still think I am holding out until the next model.

Of course, I could still cave in. :p

White 32GB for me, white 16GB for wife. The 32 shipped from TN via UPS, the 16 from TX via FedEx. Both trucks got to my house withing 30 seconds of each other, with the drivers almost simultaneously handing me the boxes. Very funny all around. I bought 32GB because I use it as a backup music store when DJing, and we both wanted white, having come from a 3G and a 3Gs each in black.
