Diablo on the Gameboy - It almost happened

I’m sure that at least some of you were hooked on Diablo, if not the original you probably got hooked on Diablo II. What is interesting is that the original Diablo almost came to the Game Boy.

That’s right, Blizzard was actually working with Nintendo to create a portable version of the popular title. I’m actually pretty sad that this never came to pass. I was a big Diablo fan back in the day, so had they managed to pull this off, I would have been hooked.

The video really doesn’t look too bad. You have to consider just how old that game is, so imagining that on an original Game Boy would be pretty sweet.
