Powerline network adapters are increasingly growing in popularity. It’s understandable really, extend your network anywhere in the house without having to run cable or mess with wireless. But what about when you want to use wireless in a part of your house that your router won’t reach? Your powerlines can help you there as well.

devolo dLAN

A new addition to the devolo dLAN product line will actually extend your current WiFi connection over your powerlines. Just plug in one of their standard ethernet adapters into your computer and then plug it into the wall. Plug the wireless adapter in anywhere in the house, and your wireless connection just got a boost.

The kit will run you $275 with additional Wireless Extenders running about $200 apiece.
