Details of 300 Mbps Verizon Fios plan leak

If you're in an area that can get Verizon's Fios Internet connectivity, some documents have leaked that show a new high-end speed package is coming. Verizon had announced previously that it would be offering new plans with double the download speed, but no pricing details were offered. Anytime an Internet provider says double speeds, our wallets start to ache.

The top-of-the-line service for Fios users will soon be 300 Mbps speeds for download and 65 Mbps speeds for uploads. The leaked documents that have surfaced recently show that the high-end, speedy plan will cost users $204.99 a month. That is a lot of money for web access.

That extra 150 Mbps download speed will cost about $100 a month more than the existing 150/65 Mbps plan. Other changes are also coming to the Fios offerings, including a change on the 15/5 Mbps plan, which is going up by $10 a month to $64.99 monthly. The two faster plans offering 50/25 and 150/65 speeds will remain unchanged.
