One of the most anticipated games for the new PS4 game console and the old PS3 is Destiny from Bungie. Bungie has been telling gamers for a while if they pre-order the game they can get in on the Beta. Bungie announced this week that the beta for Destiny would come first to the Sony PS4 and PS3 game consoles.
The launch of the beta first on the PS4 is to celebrate the new next generation console according to Bungie. It also helps that the Xbox One hasn’t launched yet. The PS4 will have at least a week of exclusivity.
Bungie says that fans who pre-order the game at participating retailers worldwide will get a free beta redemption code. Those codes will only be offered while supplies last. There is no indication of exactly how many beta codes are available. The required beta codes will be printed on the receipt for the pre-order or on a flyer handed out when the game is purchased.
The code could also come via email from the retail rewards program at some stores. Once the game officially launches it will be available for the four major game consoles including the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
