There have been rumors floating around that we’ll be able to see both Yoda and Darth Vader in the same version of Soul Calibur IV. Unfortunately the director of the game, Katsutoshi Sasaki officially stated that “we don’t have any plans for that.” How interesting, since we have footage of the two Force-wielders going at it. Hit the jump to check it out.

The video below clearly shows our favorite green Jedi duking it out with the Dark Lord of the Sith. Unfortunately we aren’t quite sure just how this was achieved, since no one is coming forth with the info.
My guess is that since both characters are indeed on the disc, we’ll just be forced to pay to unlock the one that isn’t specific to our console. I’m really hoping that’s not the case, since it will merely bring up the old debate of why we should have to pay for content that’s already on the disc we purchased.

It could be a unlock character or perhaps a timeing issue, why not try setting the date on your 360 to next year and restart it with no network connection and see if that works, not the first time designers have used a time based unlock system(animal crossing anyone).
Ill probally try this when i get home from work.
