Denon AH-GC20 wireless headphones arrive next month

Denon has announced the upcoming launch of a new pair of wireless headphones, the AH-GC20 Globe Cruiser Wireless Headphones. These headphones feature an over-the-ear design with round ear cups and a cushioned headband, aluminum metal components, and optional audio wires for those times wireless usage isn't an option. The headphones will not be launching until some time next month, but Denon has detailed all the features and other particulars ahead of time, among them being active noise cancellation technology for blocking ambient nuisances.

The headphones, which will be priced at $399 USD when they launch, feature 40mm drivers and a circular ear cup design, as well as the promise that the resulting audio has a natural tone balance, making exaggerated responses a non-issue. There's Bluetooth 4.0 Dual Mode able to connect to two different devices at the same time.

There's Clear Voice Capture, referred to as "cVc", which is the maker's noise reduction system for keeping unwanted noises to a minimum while enhancing the audio you want to hear — there's auto gain control, wind noise reduction, volume control based on noise levels, echo cancellation, and adaptive equalization.

There are voice prompts available in seven languages, which provide information on the operation status and the battery life. The 3.5mm jack can be used to connect an audio cable for wired use, and there's a micro USB port for charging the internal battery — there's up to 20 hours of run time on a charge.
