Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 Clears FCC Gauntlet, Heading to T-Mobile

While AT&T and T-Mobile are sharing the Windows Phone 7 love this holiday season, and carriers like Verizon and Sprint are left to wait until 2011 to launch their own handsets, it looks like one major name is on its way to the Magenta network shortly. Courtesy of the FCC, it's been discovered that the Dell Venue Pro has just cleared the process with T-Mobile USA 3G (1700MHz).

The model name of the device is V02S, and there's no denying that the device is certainly the Venue Pro. This particular handset features Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone 7 mobile Operating System, and features a portrait slider, with a full physical QWERTY keyboard underneath. The Venue Pro also has a 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, and the 1GHz processor under the hood.

Unfortunately, the FCC filing doesn't give us any other juicy details here, so it looks like you'll just have to be happy with our hands-on time with the device, which we went over last month. For T-Mobile customers, there's rumors floating around that the Venue Pro could launch on the network November 8th, when AT&T will be busy launching their own Windows Phone 7 handsets. It's just a rumor for now, but with the FCC clearance, at least it's a possibility. Hopefully it makes it by the holiday shopping season, at least. You can check out the hands-on video below.
