I bought a Dell Streak today – it is Horrible… I can’t even begin to describe… can’t believe Dell and Google launched a product like that. A few things that I noticed:
1) Very weak UI. In a world that Apple is the bar it is hard to compete.
2) Email connectivity with Exchange sucks… it is done through an evaluation product called TouchDown. Horrible user experience. Contacts don’t sync with the Phone’s contact app.
3) I have to give a 9 out of 10 to the browser… it is pretty good.
4) keyboard app is somewhat precise, but not as precise as iPhone.
5) All things considered, as a mailer & organizer, a social centric device, device to listen to music etc, I would stil rank the iPhone ahead of it. Would also rank the Windows Phone ahead of it since it is a great organizer as has decent browsers available in the marketplace (Windows Phone 7 will be much better).
