It’s Windows 8. They are showing a Win8 tablet at the beginning of 2012 where others have forecasted a 2013 release for Win8. This would be huge for Microsoft to have Win8 out by that time, especially if it will do what they have stated–run on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.

As noted by others, Nokia has never stated they are going to make WP7 phones, but rather “windows phones.” Maybe this is why?!?!?

Microsoft landing a full Windows OS that can run on phones to desktop by next January would be a huge impact especially since it will also run on ARM chips and we know quad-core ARM chips will be in the market by that time.
