It looks like Bsquare, a mobile software developer, has spoken a bit too openly about their release plans. Apparently, they’ll be porting Adobe Flash Lite to Dell netbooks. However, where they might have said too much is when they noted these Dell netbooks would be running on Android.

In this reveal, Bsquare mentioned the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and noted that Android will most likely be appearing on this specific netbook. We don’t know in what capacity Adobe Flash Lite would be appearing. This all seems to confirm a rumor regarding Dell’s plans to utilize Google’s Android platform.

We still don’t know when the Adobe Flash Lite port will be available on these netbooks or when Android will be making its appearance, though it’s likely all of this will happen at once. This is definitely an exciting venture into the use of an open-source operating system for Dell.
