Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Netbook is practically notebook-sized

Well, this is sort of interesting. The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Netbook is a light and low-cost computer option for those looking to get basic computer functions for a real bargain. However, it features a 12-inch display, which puts it in the notebook category as far as size goes. Even so, the specs are lacking, even for a netbook.

Performance is a bit lackluster from the Mini 12 as it features 1GB of RAM and runs Windows Vista Home Basic. That doesn't bode too well for even the most basic of applications. You can't upgrade the RAM, either, making this even more of a problem.

From the outside, however, the Mini 12 Netbook is nice to look at with a large touchpad and keyboard and a 1280 x 800 glossy screen. The netbook is about an inch thick and weighs just three pounds. All of this is great news but is really sort of meaningless if you want a computer that actually performs those simple tasks you require like word processing and web browsing.
