So ever since the release of the Transformers movie there has been a spike of new transformers being released. Its almost just like when Transformers was a hit TV show/cartoon.
This latest iteration though reaches an all new high, it is the Death Star that transforms into Darth Vader. Well, its at least the highly robotic version of Lord Vader post op.
The Death Star portion has some legs on the bottom, assumingly to keep it from rolling around and getting smashed at 3am, it also has what looks like a green LED in the center of the “Giant Laser” part. The Darth Vader has a cape and a light saber, its selling now at Amazon for $49.99 so go get one.

I just got one of these for my birthday…and I’m now 31. This is INSANE!!! The lightsaber lights up and makes noise when touched…the Death Star (and Vader’s chest) light up with green LEDs and it talks! It took a while to transform it from Vader to the Death Star, mainly because it’s delicate and round. It’s like Rubik’s cube…only friggin’ WAY cooler. It also comes with a mini-Vader, 2 Stormtroopers and 2 TIE Fighters that all tuck away inside hidden compartments. Also, there is a gun that has a green projectile that fits into Vaders hand and also becomes the center of the Death Star turret. i recommend it to adults and collectors, but it says 5+ for recommended ages, and a young child can seriously break this easily.
