Metal Gear Solid V revealed: hard-hitting mega-title coming up!

This week at the 2013 Game Developer's Conference a couple of mysterious trailers from the past few weeks have been combined by the folks at Kojima to create Metal Gear Solid V. This is the first time the game has been officially revealed as existing, while two trailers - "The Phantom Pain" and "Ground Zeroes" - were both actually part of a series of pieces leading up to this final first push. Metal Gear Solid V (or Metal Gear Solid 5, if you prefer), is loaded and ready for action.

This Iron Man 3 game is being targeted for a cross-platform release on the 25th of April, just days before the theater release of the film itself! You'll be rolling out with an endless runner this time around - or endless shooter, if you prefer that version of the game concept genre.

Ericsson considers buying Microsoft’s IPTV service

Ericsson is reportedly planning on buying out Microsoft's Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service. The service, called MediaRoom, allows many operators to bring their paid-TV service to a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, as well as video game consoles. If Ericsson successfully purchases the service, it would have another great weapon in its arsenal of software services.

This week at the Game Developer's Conference 2013 it's been announced that a variety of new titles will be coming to Windows Phone 8, including the highly popular Temple Run. When it comes to the mobile app ecosystem, there are a few kings and queens and a whole lot of lesser titles - Temple Run is one of the gods. When the original Temple Run was pushed to Android, it'd already been one of the hottest-selling games on iOS for several months, exploding then onto Google's mobile OS like a flash of lightning.

Rockstar has revealed a bunch of new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto 5 (as if you haven't had enough already). This time around, the new screenshots emphasize more on the beautiful scenery in the game. It displays the beautiful landscapes, vast underwater explorations, intense thunderstorms, and calming sunsets that you can discover in the fictitious city of Los Santos. Rockstar wanted to show off how well they can maximize the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360's resources for GTA V.
