Earlier today, Pandora announced that it will be instituting a limit on the hours of free streaming mobile users can utilize. This move comes from increasing royalty costs, with the service trying to strike a balance between meeting extra costs and allowing users to have free access to streaming music. Facebook is apparently marking down gifts from its marketplace in order to get more people to use it. Not only that, but you'll also be given the option to "give a gift" whenever your friends get a new job, a promotion, or give birth to a child. Facebook is going to great depths to market its own marketplace. Perhaps it should utilize its own, newly updated custom audiences tool. It has announced that its custom audiences tool, which was released back in September to let marketers create more relevant ads for users, has received an update that will help marketers to create better, more targeted ads to attract users with. ISPs consequences for abusing Six Strikes program revealed

5 internet service providers, including AT&T, Verizon, Time Warner Cable, Comcast, and Cablevision launched their "Six Strikes" anti-piracy program this Monday. The program is the latest attempt for ISPs to stop its users from pirating software and media illegally. At the launch of the piracy program, the ISPs kept quiet about the consequences that would ensue if the users reached their 5th or 6th warning, but now they've explained their punishments. Samsung plans to double tablet sales this year

Samsung plans on doubling its tablet sales this year according to Y.H.Lee, executive VP for Samsung's mobile division. While Samsung hasn't fully disclosed how many tablet sales it made in the year of 2012, the estimated number of sales it has to make in 2013 would equal about 40 million units. Today, Google co-founder Sergey Brin spoke at the TED conference held in Long Beach, California. There, he discussed Google's latest gadget, Google Glass. He praises the many features Google Glass has to offer, as well as its ease of use. He states that Google Glass will help him realize the dream he had when he helped create Google 15 years ago. HP is planning on shifting its attention from the PC industry to the tablet industry. It has already started on this transition by announcing its new HP Slate 7 tablet, a $169 budget tablet that will definitely catch the eyes of consumers, and also make it a decent competitor to Amazon's line of 7-inch Kindle tablets.
