THQ stock climbs nearly 40% after release of Humble Bundle

Earlier in the day, we told you about the latest Humble Bundle. This Humble Bundle is more or less the same as past bundles in that players get to name their own price for it, but there's one key difference: instead of bundling together a bunch of indie titles, this latest one is a collection of THQ's biggest games. It would appear that THQ's investors like this idea a whole bunch, because THQ's stock ended the day up a whopping 37.96%.

Atari rings in 40 years of Pong with free iOS game and custom Xbox 360 with LCD

The big 40 has come down for the original tennis game Pong, and the folks at Atari are ringing in the occasion with two big releases. The first is what the company calls "the first-ever official new Pong game on iOS", this meaning not that Pong has never been on iOS before, but that this is the first real redesign for the next generation - we guess. This vehicle is a plug-in hybrid machine able to reach 20 miles using only electricity, and with an amazing looking body and current real-world statistics and specifications in-tact, this machine looks just about as road-ready as we'd like - for now though, it's still only a dream.
